Rudycats continues.
Rudycats claims that they reached out to a breeder who said, in not so many words, guilty until proven innocent.
Let’s examine that conversation.
This conversation indicates that this person checked the reviews the Rudycats provided and couldn’t access them – likely due to Rudycats turning their reviews off rather rapidly following updates on this site.
This person also understood Rudycats to have accused both Artizan and Leanne Gallagher, questioning (as we all have) who Rudycats understood this site to have been written by.
This person declines the request to remove the post but invites Rudycats to write a post in their own defence, which this person would be happy to approve in the group in question.
Rudycats subsequently leaves the group.
Rudycats also claim a number of things:
- The individuals claimed to be involved with the site are contacting breeders of the cats Rudycats owns to tell them “how awful” they are.
- The individuals claimed to be involved with the site are contacting TICA and CFA to have certificates removed from Rudycats
- The individuals claimed to be involved with the site are encouraging people not to purchase from Rudycats and instead purchase from other breeders
- There are messages stating “this particular attack will not stop until [she goes] ahead and kills [herself]”
Item #1
No individual involved with the updating this site has been in touch with any of the breeders of the cats purchased by Rudycats, an owner of one of these cats has. Specifically Evie’s owner.
Evie’s owner, who has consistently been referred to as C D on this site, provides confirmation on who notified Evie’s breeder of Evie’s new ownership status. Readers can examine the veracity of this for themselves via a direct link to the post in the public Facebook group.
This author invites Rudycats to provide screenshots that demonstrate who has contacted the breeders of their cats and in what manner she has obtained this information.
Item #2
No individual involved with updating this site has been in touch with TICA or CFA. This author cannot speak for the victims of Rudycats, those were sold sick kittens or kittens who subsequently died. They are within their rights to submit welfare claims against Rudycats.
Again this author invites Rudycats to provide screenshots that evidence this claim.
Item #3
There have been individuals encouraging new owners away from Rudycats, and these individuals are the ones who have suffered at the hands of Rudycats – specifically Matilda’s owner and both of Pebbles’ owners. Is it little wonder, given their experiences?
It is understandable that Rudycats is panicking about the loss of sales. They have admitted themselves that breeding is a business and their full time job. Anyone would panic at the loss of all their income.
This was part of a wider status in which other breeders were blamed.
Item #4
No individual involved with updating this site has ever suggested that Rudycats should end their own life. To suggest such a thing is extremely concerning to this author and it is my responsibility to ensure my sources are unbiased and accurate.
I therefore strongly urge Rudycats to come forward with evidence of these messages.
This site, since its inception, has provided evidence that is either publicly accessible via Rudycats page or is conversations in which Rudycats is an active participant. Rudycats has provided no evidence to support their claims, and this author invites them publicly to do just that. This author awaits with bated breath….
